Lamb is sold by hanging weight, so the total price is not calculated until the lamb is processed. Whole lamb is $7.75/lb. Hanging weight will typically range from 50 to 70 lbs. Hanging weight is not the same as the take-home weight of meat, which is typically 55-60% of the hanging weight. The price listed in the pricing section is only a deposit which will be deducted from the total price.
